Fashion is one of world’s most polluting industries. As Theory turns 20, founder Andrew Rosen announced his plan to develop workwear that is more Earth-friendly.
Theory is launching “Good Wool”, its most sustainable collection to date. From the traceable wool, to the biodegradable lining, to the recycled buttons, everything about is made in the most sustainable way possible. The suits are made with Australian merino wool and then woven in an Italian mill that has been standing for a century, but which employs modern energy-saving technology.
Pants are $275, dresses are $325, and blazers are $395. They come in bright colors, like pinks and purples, in addition to the more muted shades, showcasing how well the wool holds color.
Theory is setting a good example for a more eco-friendly fashion industry !
